Mexico City more progressive than the freaking U.S.

Who knew that despite Catholicism and machismo, the people's will could actually overcome? If only Americans could defeat Puritanism and homophobia now...

Okay, I don't often do this fancy LJ linking thing, so hopefully I won't mess it up... if you're interested in helping out with reviving the UT PSA, you can join the once-abandoned but apparently still working LJ group utpsa. You don't have to be a student, just interested in helping out, whether it be by chiming in with advice, posting events or reviews, being a mentor for a younger person, etc.

The Pagan Student Alliance is the only thing I really enjoyed about college, and it opened so many doors to me that I didn't even know were there. I think it's very sad that it fell apart and kids now don't have that resource... so I am going to try and revive it. I need three students to start a student organization, so if you know anyone currently at UT that might be interested then please send them my way. And if you might be interested in leading a workshop or discussion please let me know. I think that getting more young people involved in the Pagan community can only help it, and I think there are probably a lot of young people that don't know what sort of resources are out there for them.
